Bristol Harbor Sunset

Bristol is a 20 minute drive South: Host to the nation's oldest Fourth of July celebration. You can experience the working life of the 1700's at the Coggeshall Farm Museum. Discover the gracious way people lived during the turn-of-the-century at Blithewold Mansion & Gardens. Relive the golden age of yachting at the Herreshoff Marine Museum, and lea rn how the Indians savored life here before the colonists came at the Haffenreffer Museum of Anthropology.

We recommend Colt State Park which includes a small sand beach , 464 acres of manicured lawns and mature trees, more than 400 picnic tables, 10 large playfields and an open air Chapel-by-the-sea,. Also the end of a 14 mile picturesque bike path which begins in East Providence and continues along Narragansett Bay.

In Warren about 15 minutes from the Inn is another favorite thing to do: taking a dinner dance cruise around the Bay on the Bayqueen.
